Museo Amazonico

The Museo Amazonico ( Amazon Museum) houses a collection of statues made by the late Felipe Lettersten. Felipe was a Peruvian-born Swede who made full-body plaster castings of indigenous people. These casts would then be used to make bronze and/or fiberglass statues. Felipe also did castings of North American Indians and Lima street vendors.
